BL: Small truck operated by the hospital negotiates the twenty switchback turn road 2,000 feet down to the lake level to pick up supplies which are warehoused and transported to the Synod plateau.
BR: Boat operated by the Synod supplies two of the up lake clinics which can only be accessed by foot or from the water. Lake Malawi is the eleventh largest lake in the world and is bordered on the west by the country of Tanzania.
